Dating back to around 1100, Rothenburg on the Tauber is a well preserved medevial town in Bavaria. Since we were there in the winter, the usual tourist throngs were missing, so we had the town to ourselves.
One of the highlights is being able to traverse most of the old town on the wall, providing overviews throughout.
We enjoyed our day in Rothenburg, as well as the excellent hospitality of the hotel and restaurant owners.
