The small German town of Sinsheim has one of my favorite museums I have ever visited. The Sinsheim Auto & Technik Museum is over 500,000 square feet of automobiles, trucks, tractors, military equipment, chain saw, hair dryers, and everything else imaginable.
By far the highlight though is the collection of airplanes literally mounted on the roof. After viewing Europe’s largest collection of American classic cars, and the vast collection of Formula 1 race cars, you head up to the roof where you are greeted with, among others, a Concorde and a TU144 (a ‘Konkordski’).
We spent the entire day wandering throughout this amazing place, burning through two camera batteries in the process!
