As is a common practice of ours, we like to visit Frank Lloyd Wright homes when we get the chance. The visit to Grand Rapids gave us the opportunity to see a really nice example of one.
The Meyer May House Prairie Style home was built in 1908. Built of a lighter color brick, with long eaves, stylish stained glass windows, and hip roofs. Outside the gardens integrate nicely with the home.
The 90 minute tour of the home was thorough, with photography permitted throughout. Other than Fallingwater, the Meyer May Home is my favotire FLW design that I have had the chance to tour.
