Pittsburgh is one of the hilliest cities in the world, resulting in many steep streets. In the 1980s a few intrepid bicycle fans took on a number of the steepest hills in the same day. Today each November they attack 13 of the steepest in what has become known as the Dirty Dozen (a baker’s dozen).
One day with nothing better to do we took a tour of the city, looking for each one. Below are some of the steepest.
