Boston – May 2010 – First Look in Years

The first smart move was to ditch the car and take the T.

Our walking trip took us down by BU, crossing the Mass Pike with Fenway in the distance.

Nickerson Field offices. More important to me is it was the old ticket office for Braves Field – a major league stadium before the Boston Braves left for Milwaukee in the early 1950s. Later the university reconfigured the stadium for football.

At the end of the day we were near TD Gardens where the Bruins fans were getting ready for a playoff game.

Very early the next morning we were leaving town – so early we were able to get a photo of the tunnel sans traffic.
