My favorite sport is hockey. Unlike baseball where the photo ops seem repetitive (swinging, pitching, plays at first, etc), hockey action is continuous with lots of cool shots.

Great photos. I like hockey too. In fact my home town in northern Sweden, Örnsköldsvik was named the hockey capital of the world by a Canadian magazine one time. The reason was that 13 NHL players came from Örnsköldsvik despite it being a small town. Some examples are Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin (twins) and Markus Näslund (all three played for Vancouver Canucks), and Peter Forsberg, who lived pretty close to us, we were practically neighbors, etc.

I was once checking into a little motel in Angered, Sweden when I noticed they had hockey sticks on the wall behind the desk. I said I am a hockey fan. The young lady behind the desk said they are very proud of their Swedish players and asked if I had a favorite.
I said as a Pittsburgh Penguins fan I did, Ulf Samuelsson. When she heard this she said ‘oh’ and looked down to complete my registration without further comment – apparently not happy or proud of Ulfie’s reputation at the time.
